Why Astrology?
There are various ways us humans make meaning of the world. Some people might find meaning in organized religion. Others may find it in the subtle sound the wind makes on a chilly winter morning. I derive meaning from your astrological natal chart—a snapshot of the sky at the moment of your birth—which tells a symbolic story of the journey of your life.
Whether you’re a seasoned seeker of wisdom or finding yourself at a new life threshold, your natal chart can act as a map, a helping hand, or a wise sage as you meaningfully engage with the various phases of your life.
My approach to astrology is supported by my practice of yoga and somatics. These practices have taught me what it means to be practice “embodiment,” which to me means to experience something spiritual through something tangible. In our work together, we’ll discuss your natal chart’s symbolism, explore what it actually feels like to be you, and collaborate on ways you can use astrology to heal, grow, and live life on purpose.

Although I partially act as a translator of ancient symbols, I also aim for our time together to feel like an inspiring conversation with a good friend. Think of it as less of a “reading” and more of a collaboration.

I begin each session with a 10-minute somatic centering practice to help ground us in the space together. In my initial sessions with folks, I take a little time to introduce some of the concepts of astrology and my personal philosophies about them. Then we’ll discuss the symbolism of your natal chart, focusing on the unique challenges or life questions that you bring to the conversation.

My astrology practice focuses on natal chart astrology, and an exact time of birth is important in order to accurately interpret your chart. If you don’t know what time you were born, it's worth the effort to reach out to caregivers or track down your birth certificate to find an accurate time (sometimes the hospital you were born in will have this information as well).
If finding your exact birth time isn't feasible for you, we can still interpret your chart! Keep in mind that consultations without an exact birth time may lack specificity, and you may want to approach these readings with a larger proverbial grain of salt.

Because my astrological practice is centered on personal growth and reflection, I do not interpret charts for anyone that is not present at the session.

I got my first astrology reading in 2016, picked up my first astrology book in 2017, and began a 4-year professional training program in 2023. I'm currently a Year 4 student at Astrology University, where I'm also a Teaching Assistant. My practice is also heavily influenced by my yoga and somatic psychology studies.
