Why Astrology?

Many of us have been sold an illusion of linear time.

We think life should be simple, easy to explain, and that things will make sense if we keep moving forward. But often, life is more complicated than that. 

I’ve found astrology can be incredibly useful in those complex times—when life deals you something unfair, or unclear, or even unbelievable…and the only thing to do with the bigness of it all is to find some meaning in it. 

I find this meaning in your astrological natal chart, which tells a symbolic story of the journey of your life.

It turns out we were never all meant to follow the same path. In our work together, we’ll discuss your natal chart’s symbolism, explore what it actually feels like to be you, and collaborate on ways you can look to the stars to heal, grow, and live life on purpose.

  • Each natal chart reading is a 1:1 consultative session centered around the symbols of your unique natal chart.

    I begin each session with a 10-minute somatic centering practice to orient us in the space together. In my initial sessions with folks, I take a little time to introduce some of the concepts of astrology and my personal philosophies about them. Then we’ll discuss the symbolism of your natal chart, focusing on the unique challenges or life questions that you bring to the conversation.

  • My astrology practice focuses on natal chart astrology, and an exact time of birth is important in order to accurately interpret your chart. If you don’t know what time you were born, it's worth the effort to reach out to caregivers or track down your birth certificate to find an accurate time (sometimes the hospital you were born in will have this information as well).

    If finding your exact birth time isn't feasible for you, we can still interpret your chart! Keep in mind that consultations without an exact birth time may lack specificity, and you may want to approach these readings with a larger proverbial grain of salt.

  • I do not interpret charts for anyone that is not present at the session.

  • I’ve been studying astrology for nearly 10 years, which has included independent study, various workshops and conferences, and a 4-year professional training program at Astrology University. My practice is also heavily influenced by my yoga and somatic studies, as I strive to keep my work grounded in both psychological and embodied wisdom. Each session focuses on the unique potential of your natal chart—a map of the cosmos at the time of your birth. Readings are $150 for 75 minutes and include birth chart preparation, chart themes/personal timing review, and a digital recording of the conversation.
