I begin each session with a 10-minute somatic centering practice to help ground us in the space together. In my initial readings with folks, I take a little time to introduce some of the concepts of astrology and my personal philosophies about them. Then we’ll discuss the symbolism of your natal chart, focusing on the unique challenges or life questions that you bring to the conversation. It’s not really predictive in nature, but more about understanding the quality of the time you’re in so you feel more empowered to make conscious choices about your own journey.

In our time together, I may act partially as a translator of ancient symbols, but I'm moreso aiming for it to feel like a deep conversation with a good friend. I may ask you questions about your personal experiences as well as invite you to consider (or re-consider) your understanding of them.

I practice Archetypal Astrology—a modern astrological practice that views the symbols of the horoscope as metaphors for universal patterns of experience. We all have various inner urges directing our lives, from how we relate to others to how we transform ourselves. I think when we participate with these archetypes, we open ourselves up to all sorts of creative, conscious change.

My approach integrates a Humanistic Psychological perspective, and my aim is to help you understand your unique style of living so as to empower you to develop your unique, human potential. While unconscious drives and narratives may come up, my focus is really on exploring the intentional work that allows you to live more purposefully.

It’s really up to you to write your story, but I may have some ideas on where you can find the best pen.

My astrology practice focuses on natal chart astrology, and an exact time of birth is important in order to accurately interpret your chart. If you don’t know what time you were born, it's worth the effort to reach out to caregivers or track down your birth certificate to find an accurate time (sometimes the hospital you were born in will have this information as well).

If finding your exact birth time isn't feasible for you, we can still interpret your chart! Keep in mind that consultations without an exact birth time may lack specificity, and you may want to approach these readings with a larger proverbial grain of salt.

I use the Porphyry house system. Occasionally, I’m able to interpret charts in the house system of your preference—if you’d like your chart read in a system other than Porphyry, please be sure to request it in the notes when you book your reading.

Because my astrological practice is centered on personal growth and reflection, I do not interpret charts for anyone that is not present at the reading.

Interpreting the relationship between two natal charts in astrology is referred to as “synastry”—an advanced astrological technique that I don’t currently practice, but hope to incorporate soon.

I got my first astrology reading in 2016, picked up my first astrology book in 2017, and began a 4-year professional training program in 2023. I'm currently a Year 3 student at Astrology University, where I'm also a Teaching Assistant. My practice is also heavily influenced by my yoga and somatic psychology studies.
